The boy seems to want to get the girl at all costs and she just wants to see what he has in order to get her heart, and she demonstrates how to tease a boy before he can have it all. To be realistic, teenagers of previous generations would meet at school or through acquaintances, and did not have dance battles at the bowling alley. However now they are willing to meet anywhere and parents are being more lenient towards this, if we go a couple of decades back, boys had to knock on doors and ask permission to court a young lady before even attempting to go on a first unsupervised date. Things have changed now, and the reality is that the media is slowly changing the way people raise their kids.
